Week three brings more great trips! For all Pioneers, Ramblers, and Crusaders please remember to wear your camp shirt on Wednesday. They will be distributed tomorrow! Please be on the look out for the bright orange shirt.
Pioneers – Grades K & 1
On this trip, campers will go on a hayride to see all the different animals at the farmland. They will have the opportunity to feed and play with some of the animals that live throughout the farmland. Campers will have the opportunity to go to the spray park that is on site for some water fun. Learn more at https://davisfarmland.com/.
Please keep in the mind the following for this trip:
- Please pack your child a disposable lunch.
- Each camper needs a waiver for the field trip you can fill it out here or look for one to come home with your camper on Monday.
- Each camper should wear a bathing suit and bring a towel for the spray park.
Ramblers – Grades 2 & 3
On this trip campers will travel to Bonkers Fun House where they will get to enjoy an amazing video arcade, rides, and humongous play maze! Campers will have hours of fun exploring all this fun house has to offer. Learn more at http://bonkersfunhouse.com/
Please keep in the mind the following for this trip:
- Pizza and drinks will be provided! If your child has any specific dietary needs, please pack a disposable lunch.
- Please make sure your camper is wearing socks for this trip.
Crusaders – Grades 4 & 5
On this trip campers will be transported into a real-world gaming environment; an experience that they call Questing. Teams of 3-5 campers literally move through the Quests tackling a variety of mental and physical challenges. Success in the first challenge means entry into the next challenge and so on… Failure in any challenge means starting over or selecting another Quest. Boda Borg is Reality Gaming; that means real people, trying to physically survive there life-like Quests: no video games, no special equipment, no virtual reality…just eager Questers…just like real life. Please keep in the mind the following for this trip:
- If your camper is going on this trip click here to fill out a waiver. It must be completed online before we go.
- We are having a picnic lunch at a nearby park. Campers should pack a disposable lunch.
- Pick Up will be at normal dismissal time: 3:00pm
- Closed toed shoes must be worn on this trip.
Trailblazers – Grades 6,7 & 8
Please note the Trailblazers are on Trips Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week so they may participate in culminating Color War Events on Friday.
Tuesday, July 18th
On this trip campers will travel to Mt. Monadnock in Jaffrey, NH to test their endurance as they work to reach the summit. Amazing views and personal victories await campers on this trip as they work as a team to accomplish their goal!
Please keep in the mind the following for this trip:
- Sneakers are a must for hiking the mountain
- Campers should pack a backpack – not a tote bag or drawstring bag – as both make it difficult to climb
- Please be sure your camper is wearing sunscreen and bugspray
- Campers should pack a disposable lunch and 2 water bottles in their bags
- Pick up will be at 5:00 pm
Wednesday, July 19th
On this trip campers will travel to Breezy’s Waterslides in Douglas, MA. Breezy’s features 3 300ft water slides as well as a lake for swimming. Campers will also be partaking in special Camp Color Wars competitions while at the picnic grounds.
Please keep in the mind the following for this trip:
- Campers need a bathing suit and towel
- Campers should wear sunscreen
- Campers should pack a disposable lunch and water bottle
- Pick Up will be at 4:00 pm
Thursday, July 20th
On this trip campers will travel to a water park. Water Country has something for everyone! Thrill seekers are challenged by the breaking waves and speed slides. Others can relax in the sanctuary of Adventure River, swimming pools, and shady lounge areas.
