Week four brings more exciting adventures to LSC! For all Pioneers, Ramblers, and Crusaders please remember to wear your orange camp shirt on Wednesday. They will be distributed tomorrow if your campers has not already received one this summer! Please be on the look out for the bright orange shirt.

Pioneers – Grades K & 1

logo-osf1 On this trip campers will travel to One Stop Fun in Westford. One Stop Fun has the Ultimate Indoor Playground! It contains 3 stories of tubes and tunnels for climbing and exploring, a wave slide, a spiral slide, and a 40′ long 8′ high traverse rockwall for lots of fun and adventure! One door fun also features an outdoor pool that is 1.5 feet in the large camper friendly shallow area and 6 feet in the deep end. Five water slides, mushroom spray, and spray station playground and water tables provide hours of fun. Learn more at http://www.onestopfun.com/

Please keep in the mind the following for this trip:

  • Please pack your child a disposable lunch.
  • Children need to have socks for this trip
  • You will receive a waiver on Monday that must be signed and returned to camp in order for your camper to participate in this trip. You can also find it here.

Ramblers – Grades 2 & 3

On this trip campers will travel to The Kids Place to get creative. They will paint ceramics, plaster, canvas and mine for gems. Find out more at http://www.kidsplace4fun.com/

Crusaders – Grades 4 & 5

imgres,On this trip campers will get to explore an amazing trampoline park. The indoor park includes a variety of specific activities such as 3D Dodgeball, Basketball Dunking Lanes, Foam Pits, Gymnastics “tumble tracks”, as well as a large Main Court. Altitude Billerica is the only trampoline park in Massachusetts to have a Rock Climbing Wall and Battle Beam suspended over foam pits! Please keep in the mind the following for this trip:

  • Campers should wear socks (although they will receive special jump socks)
  • Campers need a signed Waiver

Trailblazers – Grades 6,7 & 8

 

icon-logo Wednesday, July 26th and Thursday, July 27th –  On this trip campers experience the Berkshire hills from two perspectives. The Zoar Gap and Zipline Canopy Tour combines two amazing activities into the perfect getaway.

  • Day 1: Zoar Gap Rafting – This full-day rafting trip starts at 10:30am, and takes campers down a ten-mile stretch of class II and III whitewater. We stop for a picnic-style lunch halfway down the river.
  • Overnight: Cabin Tent Lodging – Campers will camp out in comfortable Cabin Tents. Each raised platform has a large canvas tent set up on it, with four cots inside, and a small gas grill for simple meals.
  • Day 2: Zip Line Canopy Tour – Campers will start their morning with a three-hour tour through the trees. The trip includes 11 zips, two sky bridges, and 3 rappels.
  • Approximate Departure Time: Wednesday 7:15 am
  • Approximate Dismissal Time: Thursday 4:00 pm

Friday, July 28th

On this trip campers will travel to Kimball Farm to play Adventure Style Mini-Golf, swirl the waters in their Bumper Boat Pond, take a swing in the Grand Slam Batting Cages and play state-of-the-art games in the Olde Sawmill Arcade. Find out more at http://kimballfarm.com/westford/

Please keep in the mind the following for this trip:

  • Please pack your child a disposable bagged lunch.
  • Your child may want to wear a bathing suit as they are likely to get wet on the bumper boats. A towel might also be helpful.
  • Pick Up will be at normal dismissal time: 3:00pm  
  • Extra money is not required but campers might want to buy additional token for the arcade.
