Meet The Staff

Camp Director – Sarah Costa – She/Her  

Sarah is a third grade teacher in Belmont, Massachusetts. She holds a Bachelors of Science dual degree in Elementary and Special Education from Boston University. She also has a Masters of Education in Educational Technology as well as a Certificate of Advanced Professional Studies in the Teaching of Mathematics from Lesley University. Outside of teaching, Sarah enjoys baking, reading, and roller coasters. This will be her 12th summer at Lincoln Summer Camp.


Camp Director – Erin Dotson – She/Her

Erin is a 5th Grade teacher at Hanscom Middle School. She holds a masters degree in Elementary Education and Reading from Lesley University and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Lawrence University. This will be her 8th year at Lincoln Summer Camp. She enjoys teaching, hiking, reading, playing board games, baseball, and singing loudly in the car.


Camp Director- Joe Colombo- He/Him

Joe Colombo is a Math Curriculum Specialist for Acton- Boxborough regional school district and a former fifth grade teacher at Lincoln School. He holds a Bachelors of Science dual degree in Elementary and Special Education from Boston University. He also has a Masters of Education in Educational Technology as well as a Certificate of Advanced Professional Studies in the Teaching of Mathematics from Lesley University.  Outside of teaching, Joe enjoys woodworking, ice hockey, and car karaoke. He has worked at summer camps for the past 20 years and this will be his 9th year at Lincoln Summer Camp.


Assistant Director- Brianna Normile – She/Her

Brianna is a 2nd grade teacher in Belmont, Massachusetts. She holds a Bachelor of Art dual degree in Elementary Education and Visual Arts. She also has a Masters of Science in Special Education. She enjoys teaching, baking, pottery, and photography. This will be her 3rd year at Lincoln Summer Camp. After serving as Arts and Crafts Specialist Brianna is excited to be joining the directorial team!


Assistant Director of Middle School Programs – Kim Woods – She/Her

Kim is a Special Education paraprofessional at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School. This will be her second year at LSC and she is so excited to be back for another year of adventures. Outside of camp you can find Kim on the roller derby track.


Music and Drama Specialist – Elana – She/Her

Elana is a recent graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges and is pursuing a career in elementary education. In her free time Elana enjoys dancing, arts and crafts, spending time outside, and singing camp songs all year long. She is very excited to come back for her fourth summer at Lincoln Summer Camp!


Cooperative Games Specialist – Tim – He/Him

Tim is a recent graduate of the University of New Hampshire where he is majoring in psychology. Tim was a counselor for two years prior to becoming the Archery and Story Time Specialist and now is excited to be moving into the wonderful world of STEM! In his free time, Tim watches sports and often takes his dog Savannah on hikes.


Epic Adventures Specialist – Joanna – She/Her

Joanna is a rising junior at Davidson College. She has been both a camper and counselor at Lincoln Summer Camp and is so excited to be returning for another summer of fun! In her free time, she enjoys acting, hiking, and making friendship bracelets! 


Sports and Games Specialist – Stephanie – She/her

Stephanie is a rising sophomore at Syracuse University. She has been going to this camp since she was in kindergarten and this will be her 3rd year as a staff member. She loves playing soccer, running track and hanging out with friends. She is very excited to be returning and can’t wait to have an amazing summer.


S.T.E.M. Specialist – Kristen – She/her

Kristen is a rising sophomore at American University pursuing a degree in Occupational Therapy. She is very excited about her 4th year of camp and her first as a specialist. In her free time, she enjoys playing the flute, baking, cross country skiing, and spending time with friends.


Arts and Crafts Specialist – Sofia – She/her

Sofia is a rising sophomore at Syracuse University. She has attended Lincoln summer camp since she was in kindergarten and is returning for her 3rd summer on staff. Sofia loves theater, music, and hanging out with her friends. She is so excited for another year of camp fun!


Head Counselor – Meredith

Meredith is a rising sophomore at Holy Cross, and she is so excited to be coming back for her 3rd year at camp! She loves crafts, baking, and hanging out with friends. She’s ready to have yet another amazing summer at camp! 


Head Counselor – Emma

Emma is a rising junior at the University of Dayton and is studying Psychology and Criminal Justice Studies. After years of attending camp as a kid, she is very excited to come back as a counselor! She enjoys sports, music, long drives, and coffee. 


Head Counselor – David

David is a recent graduate ofLincoln Sudbury Regional High School. He was a camper and is now excited to be returning for his second year on staff. In his free time, David enjoys biking and swimming with his friends, skiing at Sugarbush, playing ultimate frisbee and heading to Vermont for some hiking. 


Head Counselor- Allie

Allie is a recent graduate Lincoln Sudbury. She attended Lincoln Summer Camp when she was younger and is excited for her 3rd year on staff. Allie enjoys playing field hockey, running track, and playing board games. She can’t wait for a great summer at camp!


Middle School Counselor – Javi

Javi is recent graduate of Lincoln Sudbury Regional High school who just completed an internship at the Lincoln Extended-day Afer-school Program (LEAP). He is excited to return to LSC for 3rd summer as a staff member. After attending LSC as a kid and serving as a C.I.T. Javi is extra excited to be taking on the role of Head Counselor this summer. Outside of camp Javi enjoys fishing, swimming, and ice cream.


Middle School Counselor- Kyle

Kyle is a rising freshman at the University of New Hampshire pursuing a degree in Parks and Recreation Management. He has attended Lincoln Summer Camp for many years and is so excited to be coming back for his third summer as a staff member. Kyle loves the outdoors and sports of every kind. He enjoys trying new restaurants in search of the best burgers, chicken sandwiches and sauces. One of his favorite camp activities is gymnastics and he can’t wait to hit the mats this summer.
