Camp Director – Sarah Costa
Sarah is a third grade teacher in Belmont, Massachusetts. She holds a Bachelors of Science dual degree in Elementary and Special Education from Boston University. She also has a Masters of Education in Educational Technology as well as a Certificate of Advanced Professional Studies in the Teaching of Mathematics from Lesley University. Outside of teaching, Sarah enjoys baking, reading, and roller coasters. This will be her 9th summer at Lincoln Summer Camp.
Camp Director – Erin Dotson
Erin is a 5th Grade teacher at Hanscom Middle School. She holds a masters degree in Elementary Education and Reading from Lesley University and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Lawrence University. This will be her 5th year at Lincoln Summer Camp. She enjoys teaching, hiking, reading, playing board games, baseball, and singing loudly in the car.
Camp Director- Joe Colombo
Joe Colombo is a fifth grade teacher at Lincoln School. He holds a Bachelors of Science dual degree in Elementary and Special Education from Boston University. He also has a Masters of Education in Educational Technology as well as a Certificate of Advanced Professional Studies in the Teaching of Mathematics from Lesley University. Outside of teaching, Joe enjoys woodworking, ice hockey, and car karaoke. He has worked at summer camps for the past 18 years and this will be his 6th year at Lincoln Summer Camp.
Extended Day and C.I.T Director and 2020 Sports And Games Specialist – Elissa DeNunzio
Elissa is a kindergarten teacher in Cambridge. She will be graduating with her Masters of Elementary Education this summer from Lesley University. She also holds her Bachelors of Arts degree from Middlebury College where she was a member of the varsity diving team. In her free time, Elissa enjoys yoga, reading, cooking, and swimming at the beach. She is really excited for her third summer at Lincoln Summer Camp and excited to try on a new role for this summer!
Epic Adventures Specialist- Vicky Vitale
Vicky works in Special Education in Belmont, Massachusetts. She holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Keene State College. This is her third year working with at Lincoln Summer Camp and she is excited to take on her new role as Epic Adventure Specialist. In her free time, Vicky coaches high school basketball and softball, she enjoys going to the beach, traveling and adventuring outdoors.
Arts and Crafts Specialist- Brianna Normiale
Brianna is a 2nd grade teacher in Belmont, Massachusetts. She holds a Bachelor of Art dual degree in Elementary Education and Visual Arts. She also has a Masters of Science in Special Education. She enjoys teaching, baking, pottery, and photography. This will be her first year at Lincoln Summer Camp!
Music and Drama Specialist – Taylor Mathurin
Taylor is a Special Education Tutor for 2 nd -4 th grade in Lincoln, MA. She holds two Bachelors degrees in Psychology and Theater and currently in the process of obtaining her MSW for Child Social Work at Bridgewater State University. Outside of work and furthering her education she loves to spend time with family, singing, dancing, watching movies. This will be her 1 st year at Lincoln Summer Camp.
STEM Specialist- Andrew Sifferlen
Andrew is a rising sophomore at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is currently studying biomedical engineering. This will be his second year as a staff member. He runs track and field and competes as a decathlete. In his free time he loves to stay active and listen to music. He can’t wait to return to camp this summer and have a lot of fun!
Counselor – Elana Rose
Elana is a rising junior at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and pursuing a career in elementary education. In her free time Elana enjoys dancing, arts and crafts, spending time outside, and singing camp songs all year long. She is very excited to come back for her second summer at Lincoln Summer Camp!
Counselor – Andrew Kennedy
Andrew is a rising sophomore at Saint Anselm College. He is super excited to return to Lincoln Summer Camp for a second summer! Andrew loves to play soccer and volleyball. He can’t wait for all the laughs and memories at camp this summer!
Counselor – Nicole Garay
Nicole is a graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School and will be a rising sophomore at Tufts University in the fall. Nicole loves reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors. At school, she was part of the track and cross country teams and worked on many environmental initiatives. She is really excited to start her second summer at Lincoln Summer Camp!
Counselor – Josh Brener
Josh Brener is a graduate of Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School. He attends the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) where he is pursuing a degree in Engineering. He enjoys being outdoors and can often be found on the soccer field or running. This will be his second summer working at Lincoln Summer Camp, and he is really excited to get started. He looks forward to a great summer!
Counselor – Emma Petraglia
Emma is a rising senior at Lincoln-Sudbury. She went to camp every year when she was a kid and is now so excited to be joining the camp community again! Emma does track and cross-country at LS and loves to run. Emma loves swimming, being outside, and hanging out with her friends.
Counselor – Sandar Baltay
Sandor is a rising junior at Lincoln Sudbury. He is looking forward to his second summer at camp, and has previously worked at another sports camp in Lincoln. He loves playing Soccer, Rugby and Skiing. Outside of sports and school Sandor likes to draw, make music and hang out with friends.
Counselor – Stephanie Summer
Stephanie is a rising junior at Lincoln Sudbury. She has been going to this camp since she was in kindergarten and this will be her second year as a staff member. She loves playing soccer, running track and hanging out with friends. She is very excited to be returning and can’t wait to have an amazing summer.
Counselor – Gavin Russell
Gavin is a rising junior at Northfield Mount Hermon. He is looking forward to his first summer at camp, and has gone to the camp since 2nd grade. He loves playing basketball, soccer, hanging out with friends, and listening to music.
Counselor – Meredith Christo
Meredith is a rising junior at Belmont High School. She is so excited to be joining us at Lincoln Summer Camp! Meredith is a part of her school’s basketball, lacrosse and volleyball team. She enjoys drawing, hanging out with friends and watching the Celtics with her sister. Looking forward to a great summer!
Counselor – Audrey Christo
Audrey is a rising sophomore at Bentley University. She is thrilled to come back for her second year at camp! Some of her favorite activities include running, cooking, and watching the Celtics. At school, she is a part of the cross country and track and field teams to keep her schedule extra busy! Audrey is very much looking forward to camp this summer!
Counselor – Samuel Johnson
Samuel is a rising Junior at Lincoln-Sudbury. Sam is an avid animal lover, and is extremely fond of the great outdoors as a whole. Some of his hobbies include: Fishing, canoeing, camping, collecting hats, and drinking specifically iced-sweet tea. He has fond memories of camp from last year, and looks forward to making more this summer!
Counselor – Emily Greeley
Emily is a going to be a freshman at the University of St Andrews where she will be studying International Relations and Spanish. She loves music, movies, theater, and spending time with friends. She can’t wait for her second year at Lincoln Summer Camp!
Counselor – Kristen Barrow
Kristen is a rising junior at Wayland High School. She is very excited about her first year of camp! In her free time, she enjoys playing the flute, baking, cross country skiing, and spending time with friends
Counselor- Abby Ganz
Abby is a recent graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School and will be attending Barnard College in the fall. She loves to sing, run, read, and spend time with her friends and family. In high school, she worked as a piano instructor and as an assistant teacher at a local daycare. She is so excited to be joining the Lincoln Summer Camp for the first time this summer!
Counselor- Dasha Trost
Dasha is a student at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional high school. She has been both a counselor and camper at Lincoln Summer camp. She loves to horseback ride and swim in her free time. She’s excited to be working her 2nd year as a counselor !
