Lincoln METCO Families

Lincoln Parks & Recreation in collaboration with the Lincoln METCO program and the Lincoln METCO Coordinating Committee work to provide access to the Lincoln Summer Camp for Lincoln METCO students in the summer.

Transportation to Lincoln Summer Camp will be provided from Boston (Franklin Park Zoo) to the Lincoln Public Schools and back for all six weeks of Lincoln Summer Camp.

Camp Dates

Lincoln Summer Camp will offer three two-week sessions.

Session 1: July 1 – July 12 (No camp July 4th)
Session 2: July 15 – July 26
Session 3: July 29 – August 9

Camp Hours

9:00 am – 3:00 pm 

Trailblazer group hours may vary due to trip. Please visit the Trailblazers Page for more information. 

Registration

On May 16, 2024 camp fees increase by $60 per session.

Camp Fees 

Pioneers (K-1) $690 per session ($625 for Session 1)
Ramblers (2-3) $690 per session ($625 for Session 1)
Pathfinders (4-5) $690 per session ($625 for Session 1)
Trailblazers (6-9) $930 per session ($840 for Session 1)
All registrations require a $200 per session non-refundable deposit unless applying for financial assistance. For information regarding Financial Assistance see below.

Extended Hours

Early Risers $75 per week ($60 Week 1)

Extended Day 180 per week ($145 Week 1)

Transportation 

  • The bus leaves Boston at 7:45am from the Franklin Park Zoo (Zebra Entrance) and returns to Boston at 4:00pm.
  • Children entering grades K-5 can take the bus to camp and back to Boston every day. 
  • Children entering grades 6-9 (Trailblazers) can take the bus to camp and back to Boston on the days they are on campus or return from their field trip by 3:00pm. Parents and caregivers are responsible for picking up their child in Lincoln when the Trailblazers return to camp later than 3:00 pm. Extended day program is available, at an additional cost, if care is needed up until 6:00pm. (Parents and caregivers are responsible for picking up their child in Lincoln from the Extended Day program.)

If you are in need of Financial Assistance DO NOT REGISTER FOR CAMP.

  • Please complete the Financial Assistance Application and send it to ldumont@lincnet.org by April 12, 2024. Once your application is received, we will save a spot in the program and follow up with more information regarding the financial assistance process.
